Today’s the day!
4 years of hoping, 5 months of work and today I’ll get 12 minutes to try to make it count.
It’s 7:00AM and I’ve been up for two hours. I went to bed at 1:00 and we were at the dog park by 5:15AM! When I went to bed I still hadn’t managed to do a single read-through of my speech without looking at notes. I’m excited to share that I completed it twice (without notes) to Dana and Shaefer at the otherwise empty dog park this morning!
If you want to see the speech it will be streamed at TEDxToronto.com. The first speaker goes on at 11:00 and I will be on around 12:30EST. The other speakers are fantastic!
I know our content has been completely TEDx related lately; we’ll be back to food shortly! In the meantime, we’ve built a page designed for those new to preserving. It will help you learn to navigate our site, share links on where to start and share some of our favorite books on the topic:
If you’re in the Toronto area on Friday night, pop by F’Coffee (Queen and Broadview) to celebrate the end of this journey and meet others who are passionate about food and eating! You can read more about the night here!
Now, on to that final bit of memorizing…
