A Dark ‘N Stormy is a cocktail that features dark rum and Ginger beer. Thomas Lavers made the ginger beer and The Handlebar provided the Rum. It was delicious.
The Ginger Beer in the Dark ‘N Stormy was fizzier than the one we brew with wild yeasts. I’m guessing they added a bit of champagne (or other) yeast.
At any rate, it was a remarkable beverage. And I’ve resolved that I want to learn a lot more about fermenting low-to-no alcohol beverages in the coming months; especially with so much fruit being available locally. I like to share these posts as they force me to commit to share something with you soon!
