Another Take on Homemade Fish Tacos
It`s been a busy week so tonight was all about easy – an easy meal and an easy post. But don`t think it doesn`t mean delicious; when I`m tired I crave good food. Tonight`s meal was fantastic:

We`ve shared a lot about the fundamentals of fish tacos before, including:
- An apple-pear slaw that`s awesome with fried fish (this is the core fish taco recipe we use)
- How to get breading to stick to chicken or fish
- Homemade gluten-free corn tortillas
- Homemade flour tortillas
- Duck egg mayonnaise with lime, chili and garlic (awesome for tacos)
tonight’s recipe followed what we did in that first link except it was topped with fresh sprouts and the following fantastic sauce (just mix together to your taste):
- 1 very small and finely chopped onion
- Corriander
- Sour cream (I used about two-thirds of a cup)
- Salt
- dried chillies
- juice of a whole lime
The sauce tastes overly acidic until everything comes together and it was simply fantastic. We served it with a preserved antipasti that we got at this weeks preserve swap.
What’s your standby recipe for a busy week?
