But where are you from?
Blueberries had started to ripen and it was the start of blueberry season in Nova Scotia when we saw these last week:

We thought, at first, that they were product of Canada, then product of USA, then realized they also had the BC Grown label. It is getting tougher and tougher to understand where our food comes from – in this case it appears to be British Columbia Grown blueberries either distributed by or a farm owned by a US company. I am not condemning them – simply posting as food for thought. It is getting more and more difficult for me to understand what I am buying from whom and where.
I find myself wanting, more and more, to know where and whom my food comes from so that I can make a conscious choice with all of the facts I can have available to me. Our Federal labeling system makes that difficult for me to understand and we’re going to look further into understanding food labels in coming months.
